Aeronero Solutions Private Limited (the “Company”) believes in the right to privacy of every person. The Company respects and adheres to the requirements for the protection of personal information in letter and spirit. It is necessary for the users of the websites (the “User(s)”) https://aeronero.life or https://aeronero.com (the “Website”), which is owned and operated by the Company, to know how the information collected from the Users engaged with the Company through the Website is protected.

Irrespective of the country in which the User resides or accesses the Website, by accessing the Website and providing the Company any information, it is deemed that the User authorizes the Company to the collection, storage, use, and transfer of their information.

GENERAL

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) aims to be compliant with applicable privacy laws.

CONSENT

The User, by using this Website, shall be deemed to have provided their consent to this Policy and to the collection, storage, use, transfer, disclosure and sharing of their information as described by the Company in accordance with this Policy.

USER DATA

The Company collects personal information from the User in three ways:

  1. Information the User submits: The Company collects personal information directly from the User when the User visits the Website or creates a ‘User Account’ or when the User purchases the Company’s products sold on the Website (“Products”). The Company collects the following personal information of the User: first name, last name, date of birth, email address, billing and shipping addresses, and mobile number for statistical and other purposes. More detailed information will be collected at the time of placing the order for the Products. Comments, feedback, or reviews provided by the User of the Products purchased by the User from the Website will also be considered as information submitted by the User (collectively “User Data”).
  2. Passive Collection of Unidentifiable Information: The Website automatically collects certain User Data without the User actively submitting such information. Unidentifiable information may be collected using various technologies, such as cookies, internet tags, and web beacons. Internet browser automatically transmits to the Website some of this unidentifiable information, such as the number of times the User visited the Website, the IP address of the device the User is using, the URL of the website the User just visited, the browser version device the User is operating etc. The Company uses Google Analytics to understand Users’ site usage.   3. Information Received from Third Parties: If the User visits the Website through third-party social networking sites or links on third-party social media, personal information such as name, email address and details of the social media profile may be shared with the Company. Also, the Company may receive certain User Data when interacting with the Company’s social media handles/pages by following its handles/pages or reacting to its posts. Any data received from the third-party networking site is dependent on the User’s privacy settings on that site.

LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

The Website may contain links to third-party partner websites, advertisers, retailers, and affiliates on which the Products of the Company are listed. If the User leaves the Website and follows any third-party website links, the Company is not responsible for any information displayed on or information collected by such third-party websites on which the Company’s products are listed.

COOKIES

The Website uses “cookies.” A cookie is a small text file that is stored on the User’s computer for record-keeping purposes. A cookie does not identify the User personally or contain any other information about the User but it does identify the User’s computer.

The Company and some of its affiliates and third-party service providers may use a combination of “persistent cookies” (cookies that remain on the hard drive for an extended period of time) and “session ID cookies” (cookies that expire when the User closes their browser) on the Website to, for example, tracking overall site usage, and tracking and reporting on use and interaction with advertising impressions and advertisement services.

The Website uses a combination of cookies that serve various purposes and help in the functioning of the Website:

Strictly necessary cookies – These cookies are essential for the operation of the Website. Without the cookies, the Website cannot function, hence, the cookies are automatically accepted when a User visits the Website.

Functionality cookies – These cookies are enabled when a User visits the Website multiple times, for e.g., when the User exits the Website and re-enters it. These cookies support in storing information on the products and pages the User last visited, help in customizing search results and show relevant products to the User.

If the User registers on the Website, these cookies will collect information on the User’s activities on the Website to understand which of the Products is of interest to the User.

Targeting cookies – These cookies record the User’s movement on the Website, the pages visited and the links that the User accessed. These cookies will also be used on social networking sites to share relevant Product information with the User if they have subscribed to the Company’s social media pages.

Analytical or performance cookies – The Website may use analytical cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) to carry out analytics and enhance the Website. These cookies help the Company in analysing the location of the User visiting the Website, the pages which are most visited and how the User uses the Website. These cookies also help the Company analyse which Products are of maximum interest to the Users and if the Users are easily able to access them on the Website.

Users can set their browser to notify when cookies are received so that Users will have an opportunity to either accept or reject it in each instance. However, Users should note that refusing cookies may have a negative impact on the functionality and usability of the Website.

UPDATES

It is the responsibility of the User to ensure that the User Data provided is accurate, complete and up to date. The User may request access to User Data, or request that same be updated or corrected by sending a request to the Company at support@aeronero.com.

USE OF USER DATA

The Company uses the User Data only for the following purposes:

  1. To verify User identity and provide services opted for.
  2. To help with User’s orders and fulfil shipments. User Data may be shared with third-party vendors who will assist in fulfilling the shipment of orders.
  3. To communicate the payment and order status.
  4. For internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes.
  5. To understand the Users, i.e., what products they like, what offers they like, how they use them, etc.), to improve the content and features of the Website and of the Products.
  6. To generate and review reports and data and to conduct research on, the User base and the Product usage patterns.
  7. To make special offers and notify Users of new Products.
  8. To provide customer support and respond to queries.
  9. To communicate with the User as and when required.


By using the Website, the User consents to their User Data being collected, held, and used as above and for any other use the User specifically authorises. The User Data collected is limited to browsing activities and business-related transactions. The User Data submitted by the User is voluntarily submitted by the User at his/her/its option. Collected information will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other person by the Company without the expressed consent of the User, except as required by law under search warrants, court orders and such like.


The Company will comply with all applicable laws for any information stored, collected, processed, or used outside India. The User accepts that privacy and confidentiality obligations may differ from region to region and the legal obligations may be less stringent in some countries when compared to India.

SHARING OF USER DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES

The Company does not share User Data with any affiliates, service providers or partners except for the purpose of a) fulfilling shipment and delivery of orders placed by the User; b) when the User consents to sharing his/her/its personal information for a purpose; or c) for any of the following purposes:

  1. For other legitimate business purposes of the Company.
  2. Communications to the User on new Products, discounts, offers, etc. You may opt out from such communications at any point in time by writing to the contact information provided in the “CONTACT INFORMATION” section below with the subject line: “NO PROMOTIONAL INFORMATION”.
  3. When information is sought by the Government, court, law enforcement agency or other statutory body or for defending the Company against any legal claims responding to a court order or other legal procedure or for reporting an illegal activity of a User.


For information being shared under points (i) and (ii) above, the Company will enter into confidentiality agreements with the third party with a covenant that such third party will not have the right to further disseminate the User’s data.

DATA SECURITY PRECAUTIONS

The Company will safeguard, according to strict standards of security and confidentiality of all User Data it collects. The Company has put in place security procedures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of User Data. Strict physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect User Data from unauthorised or inappropriate access are maintained by the Company.

The Company follows generally accepted standards to collect, store and protect User Data. All User Data are retained as long as they are needed by the Company to provide services to the User, and thereafter for legal purposes. These may include retention periods that are mandated by legal, contractual, or similar obligations for resolving, preserving, enforcing, or defending the Company’s legal and contractual rights and obligations.

Where the Company has given (or where the User has chosen) a username and password that enable the User to access the Website, the User is responsible for keeping these details confidential. Every User is advised not to share their access credentials with anyone.

The User must be aware that the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although the Company will do its best to protect User Data, it cannot guarantee the security of its data transmitted through the Website. Therefore, posting personal data/ information on this Website constitutes acceptance of this risk by the User.

The Company undertakes to comply within the stipulated time of any new law made by the relevant Government or its authorities with respect to Data Security and Protection in future.

USER’S RIGHTS ON USER DATA

The Company respects the various rights available to Users under the applicable local laws. The rights are broadly categorised under 4 heads below:

  1. Right to know the User Data stored.
  2. Right to request correction or deletion of User Data.
  3. Right to opt-out of sharing User Data.
  4. Right to non-discrimination for exercising their rights under local law/s.


Based on the rights available to the User, the User may avail the following rights: 

  1. Request to know the kinds of User Data stored by the Company.
  2. Access and modify User Data. If any User Data stored by the Company is incorrect, or if any changes are required for the User Data, the User may seek to update the same.
  3. Object to processing of User Data if any information is automatically processed.
  4. Request for restriction of use or deletion of User Data from the Company’s database. Such User Data will be deleted based on the provisions of the applicable local law.
  5. File a complaint with the relevant authority if the User opines that the Company is misusing the User Data.


Users may exercise any of the above rights by writing to the contact information provided in the “CONTACT INFORMATION” section below with the subject line: “REQUEST ON USER DATA”.

RETENTION OF USER DATA

The Company will retain the User Data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the order or service requests and other purposes, such as complying with legal obligations and resolving any disputes.

Users may write to the Company at the “CONTACT INFORMATION” provided below and request for deletion of User Data. Such Data will be deleted in accordance with the applicable local laws.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER OF USER DATA

The Company may transfer User Data to its affiliates, partners, or service providers outside the country of origin for fulfilling order or service requests. The data protection laws in that country might not be on par with the laws of the country of origin. In such an instance, the Company will enter into confidentiality agreements with the affiliates, partners, or service providers on the basis of the standard contractual clauses of the applicable local laws to ensure compliance and protection of User Data.

OPT-OUT

When the User signs up for an account, they are opting to receive emails from the Company. The User can log in to manage email preferences or can follow the “unsubscribe” instructions in the email messages, but the User cannot opt out of receiving certain administrative notices, service notices, or legal notices from the Company.

If the User wishes to withdraw consent for the use and disclosure of the User Data in the manner provided in this Policy, the User may write to support@aeronero.com. The User’s request shall take effect no later than 5 (five) business days from the receipt of such request, after which the Company will not use User Data for any processing.

DO NOT TRACK REQUESTS

No consistent industry practice is currently in place to respond to “do not track” requests. Therefore, if such a request is received from the User’s browser, the Company will not take any measures to alter its data collection or usage practices.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The usage of this Website is not directed at Users below the age of 13 years (“Child”). Use of the Website by persons below this age must be solely under parental guidance. The Company does not intentionally collect personal information of Children. If the User becomes aware that personal information about a Child has been provided to the Company or if personal information has been uploaded by a Child, please immediately contact the Grievance Officer (whose details are provided below in the “CONTACT INFORMATION” section) for deletion of such information.

POLICY CHANGES

This Policy may be revised from time to time and such changes to the Policy will be updated on this page. If any significant changes are made to this Policy, the User will be provided reasonable notice of such changes, such as via prominent notice on the Website. To the extent permitted under the applicable law, continued use of the Website after the changes are notified shall constitute consent of the User to the revised Policy.

This policy is subject to revision and changes as and when there are regulatory changes or when the Company deems fit.
